I bought a Samsung NC10 Netbook for my daughter in July 2009 for her new semester in uni. She is really pleased with it and I am envious of how light and convenient it is to be carried around. When the new version (N130) was launched in September 2009 I treated myself to one and I am delighted with it! I like the normal-size keys, the long lasting battery power and the built in webcam. I have bought an external DVD/CRW drive so that both my daughter and I could use it. It fits in nicely in my handbag and I look forward to taking it to keep me company during the 10 hours’ flight of my forthcoming trip! What a little gem it is!

The Samsung N130 is excellent although I am having some problems, everyday that goes by it tries to download some new software updates etc and when I do the wifi connection disapears. I have had to system restore twice now, so am not updating anything more, it might have something to do with me trying to download the yahoo software, maybe that could be the thing that sets its off.

Otherwise looks great nice and clean, I do wish that the lid had a latch to keep it down instead of just pushing it to but that is just me.

The one year free trial of microsoft office is great, as is the webcam and its toys to play with.

It is slower than my normal laptop which is annoying but I am just impatient.

Very good would definitely recommend to others is very handy and does fit in half of my many handbags, the way you can change the back lighting when on battery is great to make it brighter or dimmer, but it does make it go down quicker when brighter.

I am a freelance writer so use it for interviews and writing in public places cafes/pubs etc and it is great, as long as the table is high enough, some of the cafes have low tables and it is very hurtful on the back.

What can I say. Its little, its cute and it runs for ages. It comes with everything you need to start working right away (including a 1 year trial for Office 2007). Buy some extra memory for it would be my only tip.
